Buenos días!
Esta semana os traigo 5 consejos con los que mejorarás mucho tus fotos a insectos, sobre todo si te estás iniciando en la fotografía macro:
1. Busca un fondo homogéneo, debes centrar la atención en el sujeto, intentando que el fondo pase lo más desapercibido posible. Aquí entra en juego el importante concepto de "profundidad de campo". Podrás controlarla con el diafragma del objetivo (apertura). Con una profundidad de campo pequeña tu sujeto será el protagonista.
2. Ponte a la altura de tu sujeto, no dispares tu cámara desde arriba. Si te pones a la misma altura del insecto, de nuevo volverá a cobrar mucho más protagonismo.
3. El enfoque, siempre manual! Olvídate del modo automático si quieres obtener fotografías bien enfocadas, ayúdate del anillo de enfoque.
4. Muchas de las cámaras réflex actuales te permiten obtener una visualización previa de la fotografía que pretendes tomar. En nikon, el botón es VP. Gracias a él podrás tener una idea de tu imagen final y modificar los parámetros si no te convencen.
5. Por último, y no menos importante, debes conocer a quién tengas enfrente. ¿Cuántas veces has intentado fotografiar una especie buscando en el lugar equivocado? Busca información sobre sus hábitos, su forma de vida y las mejores horas y estación del año para fotografiarlos. Si consigues encontrarlos a primera hora del día, aún estarán lo suficientemente fríos como para escabullirse. Aprovéchalo!

This week I bring you 5 tips with which you will greatly improve your photos to insects, especially if you are starting in macro photography:
1. Look for a homogeneous background, you should focus on the subject, trying to make the background pass as unnoticed as possible. Here comes into play the important concept of "depth of field". You can control it with the lens diaphragm (aperture). With a small depth of field your subject will be the protagonist.
2. Stand up to your subject, do not shoot your camera from above. If you put yourself at the same height as the insect, it will again charge much more prominence.
3. The approach, always manual! Forget the automatic mode if you want to get well focused photographs, help yourself with the focus ring.
4. Many of the current SLR cameras allow you to obtain a preview of the photograph you intend to take. In nikon, the button is VP. Thanks to it you can have an idea of your final image and modify the parameters if you are not convinced.
5. Last, and not least, you must know who you are facing. How many times have you tried to photograph a species looking in the wrong place? Find information about their habits, their way of life and the best hours and season to photograph them. If you can find them early in the day, they will still be cold enough to sneak away. Seize it!
